Water Damage Repair Glade

Simple things such as cleared gutters / downspouts and proper drainage can save over the long-run.  We’ve had multiple cases where water has built up and either flooded the building from above (gutters) or from below (drainage).  Such flood repairs are often expensive to address.

SCOPE:

• Walls – Remediated water damage to walls by removing all damaged trim, sheetrock and insulation, and replacing with new.  Remediation Services provided by a water damage restoration service such as ServPro .
• Flooring – Installed new commercial grade carpet.

LESSONS LEARNED:

• Water Damage— There were signs of water damage during the years with a musty / damp smell  during humid periods.  There was also water stains after heavy rains.  Suggested to annually clean gutters and make sure water drains properly away from the building..
